Author David Dorosz presents Where The Orphans Of The Power Die – A political thriller in the shadow of systems (Cser Publishing)
The author will be in conversation with journalist András Bakos.
“I deeply believe that the only stories worth writing are those that really get under your skin: stories that hurt, confront you, have stakes, and reflect reality.”
As a writer, David Dorosz approaches stories with the same curiosity and sharpness with which he once worked in public life: he is interested in what drives people, how loyalties form, why life paths break, and how power works — whether social, political or personal. As a novelist, he seeks to layer reality in a way that is both entertaining and moving: so that the workings of large systems, small human reactions and unspoken fears all meet in a single, powerful story.
András Bakos was born in Szeged in 1972 and lives in Algyő. From 1994 to 2019 he worked for Csongrád Megyei Hírlap and Délmagyarország, first as a journalist, then as a section editor and senior editor. He now წერს on public affairs, nature conservation, history and literature for Magyar Narancs. He also publishes poetry; his collection is Divine Bodies (2021).
